Balancing human connection, strategic and critical thinking, and creativity, I've devoted my career to promoting growth and innovation for people and businesses. My passion lies in training, organizational development, process and performance improvement, and team building. Blended with my experience in Instructional design, facilitation, leadership coaching, and learning event management, I've developed solutions that amplify and reinforce learning, engagement, and success!
In my roles as a Training and Development Manager, Consultant, and Senior Instructional Designer, I've worked with a diverse set of clients, recommending strategies and improvements, and developing programs that accelerate learning and boost business outcomes.
At T-Mobile, I was selected for the Leadership Development Team designing learning experiences for Frontline Mobile Experts through Senior Leaders. One of my key contributions, from concept to implementation, was L.E.A.D. (Leadership Excellence and Development), an annual, six-month intensive learning journey, aimed at elevating top-talent leaders across the company. Over 1700 high-performing retail employees were interviewed for this innovative, multi-discipline program based on leadership core competencies.
To increase engagement and anchor learning, I utilized Slack to create and administer discussion boards for all 29 cohorts, encompassing 700 selected participants. These boards used scheduled questions, activities, and facilitated interactions with L.E.A.D. Mentors and Executive Sponsors to ensure a holistic learning environment.
I also designed and facilitated training and coaching for other business units including T-Mobile's online Virtual Retail (VR) and customer experience teams in both chat and call sales and support. This also included change management, systems, and retail onboarding for the T-Mobile/Sprint Merger new store experience.
For Starbucks Coffee Company, as Manager of Process & Training and Store Development University, I designed learning programs and performance improvement interventions for architects, designers, real estate managers, and construction teams. Leading a team of training specialists and cross-functional volunteers, I also produced and facilitated several large-scale learning events and conferences extending the reach of learning and performance improvement to our teams and vendors across the US.
At K/P Corporation, I was Sr. Process Improvement Trainer, Operations Project Manager, and HR Manager. I was selected to join the startup division of K/P to manage operations including inventory, logistics, and fulfillment of customer-owned marketing products and print materials.
In addition to these roles, my consulting experience includes working with customer service organizations, specialty retailers, non-profits, government agencies, and technology companies. I've orchestrated learning and organizational improvement, marketing, communication, and growth strategies, and championed development for individual contributors, leaders, and teams.
My Guiding Purpose: Empower people to truly see their potential, recognize and apply their unique strengths to build confidence, amplify performance, AND increase job satisfaction at every level.
I'm a passionate advocate of the idea that organizations are most valuable and successful when they are committed to lifelong learning, when they cultivate environments that actively foster creativity, collaboration, and innovation, and their engagement strategy aligns with their workforce's strengths.
